The S. R. Marmon Neighborhood Association was founded in 1996. There were approximately 300 homes in the area at the time. Today approximately 1400 houses and businesses are located within our boundaries. The organization is recognized as a non-profit corporation.

The SRMNA is a current member of the West Side Coalition of Neighborhoods (WSCONA). In general, WSCONA meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at the Taylor Ranch Community Center.
